This doll is 18cm tall and is dressed as a British Red Cross Nurse from WWI. The legs, body, and head are knitted all in one and she wears a light blue dress with puffed sleeves. She has a collar, and bonnet and wears the distinctive nurses apron with a red cross. I designed this pattern for the WWI 100-year remembrance in 2014. It has been knitted for WWI displays and as gifts for those who volunteer in the Red Cross.
