Technique Folders:
I have found that students who put together technical folders in my lessons is beneficial to their learning, something I encourage all my students to do.
In my experience, a monthly private lesson can be the most effective way to learn a new skill over a weekly lesson. A one-on-one lesson is cost-effective, as there is no waiting your turn in a class which can be a long time in a technical subject like dressmaking, a student can go at their own pace, and feel comfortable when asking for guidance. As a tutor, I can set achievable goals for independent study at home in between lessons.
