This is an excellent introduction to fair isle knitting, as two colours are only used at one time. 

The teapot cosy is designed for a 2 cup traditional teapot, unfortunately it does not fit a coffee pot. See the photo below for the shape that this cosy is designed for. 

The cosy has a picot hem at the bottom & top, which gives the teapot cosy a delicate finish. 

I have used a light green, with yellow & pink to represent spring time. 

This pattern comes with a basic knitting instruction booklet for beginners.
