When I think of a happy place in my home, I think of my patio overlooking the garden and herb garden. When it is warm I sit in the garden as much as possible and knit. I am not an artist and I have tried to learn, but I can say that my art work makes me appreciates artists who can draw and paint. I think there are many people who think like I do. I wanted to stitch something that is in my happy place, so decided to focus on the lavender in the garden. I love watching the bees buzzing around my many lavender plants during the summer and listen to the sounds around me. It makes me feel completely calm.
